Sibley Collision Sends One Person To Hospital

(Sibley)– A two-vehicle collision Tuesday at the intersection of 7th Avenue and 4th Street in Sibley sent one person to the hospital.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 72-year-old Doris Schoneman of Sibley was driving a 2007 Ford northbound and 16-year-old Tyler Newman of Sibley was driving a 1996 Dodge Dakota westbound when the two collided.

Schoneman was taken by ambulance to Osceola Community Hospital with possible injuries. No injuries were reported to Newman.

Two thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the vehicle driven by Newman; the one driven by Schoneman sustained an estimated seven thousand dollars damage.

The collision took place around 5:30 a.m.
