Sibley Collision Results In Minor Injuries

November 22, 2014

(Sibley)– A two-vehicle collision Friday in Sibley resulted in minor injuries.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 35-year-old Leann Renner-Huls of Sibley was driving a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer eastbound on ninth street and was approaching Sixth Avenue. Authorities say 36-year-old Nathan Egdorf of Sibley was driving a 1992 Buick westbound on ninth street and was attempting to make a left turn onto sixth avenue when he collided with Renner’s vehicle in the intersection.

Renner was transported to the Osceola Community Hospital with incapacitating injuries. A passenger in Renner’s vehicle, four-year-old Morgan Huls of Sibley, was examined on the scene by paramedics and was released.

Damage to Egdorf’s vehicle was estimated at 1,200-dollars; the vehicle driven by Renner sustained an estimated two thousand dollars in damage.

Egdorf was cited for failure to yield upon making a left turn.
