Sheldon Woman Pleads Guilty To Federal Drug Charge

April 25, 2024 Steve Schwaller

(Sioux City)– A Sheldon woman has pleaded guilty to a federal drug charge. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa says 38-year-old Kelli Biller entered the plea Wednesday to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Biller admitted that from about January, 2022 through November 2023 she was involved in a conspiracy that distributed at least 1,200 grams of meth and at least 200 grams from a source in Sioux City to later distribute in the Sheldon and Primghar areas. Biller also admitted to obtaining several ounces of methamphetamine from the same source for distribution. During a traffic stop in Sioux City on November 10th, 2023, agents seized 19 fentanyl pills from Biller.

Sentencing for Biller is pending completion of a pre-sentence report. She remains in the custody of a U.S. Marshal in the meantime.

Biller faces a possible maximum sentence of 20 years’ imprisonment, a fine of a million dollars and at least three years of supervised release following any imprisonment.
