Sheldon Man Arrested On Identity Theft, Forgery Charges

November 22, 2014

(Orange City)– A Sheldon man accused of using someone else’s identity to get a job is in the Sioux county jail.

Authorities say 54-year-old Cesar Agusto Pena-Guevara was arrested Wednesday evening as the result of an investigation by the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation was launched after authorities learned Pena-Guevara had been working at Demco Manufacturing in Boyden using a social security number and resident alien card that didn’t belong to him.

Pena-Guevara was arrested and charged with identity theft and forgery…both class “D” felonies.
