(Estherville)– A compliance check of sex offenders by the Emmet County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of a Dolliver man.
Sheriff Mike Martens says an investigation to verify sex offender registrants are living at the addresses in which they are required to reside resulted in the arrest of 26-year-old Adam Devary.
Martens says Devary, who’s from Dolliver, was arrested April 30th at a residence in Armstrong.
Devary was booked into the Emmet county jail for failure to comply with sex offender registry requirements and failing to report to serve a jail sentence for second offense operating while intoxicated.
Upon completion of the OWI jail sentence, Devary was released on his own recognizance pursuant to a court order and was ordered to appear later regarding the sex offender registry requirements violation.
