Local Emergency Management officials are reminding everyone that this week is severe weather Awareness week in the State of Iowa.
Dickinson County Emergency Management Coordinator Mike Ehret says this is a good time to put together a plan of action to be utilized in the event severe weather.
Ehret says that Dickinson County will again be using a network of trained severe weather spotters for the upcoming season, and
adds that the state-wide tornado warning test is scheduled for this Wednesday, April 4.
Ehret notes that local Emergency Management officials are willing to help businesses, organizations and schools put together plans.
