(Milford)– Severe thunderstorms very early this morning brought large hail to parts of the area. Hail about the size of golf balls was reported in portions of Milford with quarter to half dollar size hail on the east side of East Okoboji.
The storms also brought additional heavy rain to the region.
While things will be quieter today (Friday), more rain is in the forecast as we head into the Memorial Day weekend. Severe weather, however, is not expected.
