(Undated)—Several northwest Iowa school districts have qualified as finalists in Monsanto chemical company’s “America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education” program. Nominated school districts from across the country submitted applications for the program which will be considered by an advisory council comprised of farmer-leaders with a vested interest in agriculture and education. The council will then select the winning grant applications which will receive grants of up to $25,000.
Schools in northwest Iowa that are in the running include Boyden-Hull, Clay Central-Everly, Newell-Fonda, Storm Lake and West Lyon.
