Semi, S-U-V Collide

(Windom, Mn.)– One person was injured when an S-U-V and a semi collided Friday evening at the intersection of Highways 60 and 71 in Windom.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 89-year-old Garry Moller of Windom was driving a 2006 Chevrolet on Highway 71 and was attempting to cross Highway 60. Troopers say 21-year-old Jakob Kramer of Hawarden was driving a 2023 Peterbilt semi eastbound on Highway 60 and that the two collided.

Moller was taken to the Windom hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No injuries were reported to Kramer.

The Windom Fire Department and ambulance, Windom Police Department and the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office assisted on the scene. The collision took place a little before 7:00 pm.
