(Jackson, Mn.)– A Blue Earth, Minnesota man was injured this (Monday) morning when a 2003 Freightliner semi left the road and rolled on Highway 71 on the north edge of Jackson. The 63-year-old driver, who’s name hasn’t been released yet, was taken by ambulance to the Jackson Medical Center.
Troopers say the rig was southbound and that it rolled in the northbound ditch. The crash happened a little before 9:00 am.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson ambulance and Jackson Fire Department assisted on the scene.
***UPDATE*** The driver of the semi has been identified as 63-year-old Donald Asmus of Blue Earth, Mn.
