(Estherville)– The second show in the Iowa Lakes Community College Performing Arts Series will be presented this weekend.
Glenn Henriksen, Father Paul Kelly, Father David Hemann and Bill Hansen have decided to call themselves Two Priests and Some Lutherans. They will perform this Sunday at the Janice K Lund Performing Arts Center at ILCC Estherville campus. Jesi Strom, who is involved in Performing Arts Center Promotions and Operations says they are excited to have this group perform…
“They’ve been having fun and playing around ideas on the title, and it changed a few times because they weren’t sure if they were going to have two priests and two Lutherans or what it was going to end up looking like, but it’s come together and we’re really excited about that. With Glenn Henriksen, Father Paul Kelly, Father David Heman and Bill Hanson.”
Strom says it will be a fun show…
“The first time that the four of them have played together. You know, I was able to go to the Clay County Fair Veterans Day program and Glenn Henriksen, Father Paul Kelly and Bill Hanson played together but this is their first time having Father David Heman join them. So it’ll be fun. It’ll change the dynamic a little bit.”
The performance is this Sunday at 2 pm at the Janice K Lund Performing Arts Center. You can purchase tickets ahead of time at iowalakes.edu or at the door on Sunday.
