Search Warrant Results In Multiple Drug Arrests

(Superior)– The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office has released details into a drug bust that took place a week ago in Superior. It resulted in the arrests of five people.

Deputies say it stems from a search warrant that was executed October 19th on a residence in the 200 block of 5th Avenue in Superior. Authorities say they turned up what’s alleged to be methamphetamine and marijuana along with various pieces of drug paraphernalia.

48-year-old Diane Kletsch of Superior was charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

24-year-old Mechelle Reichart of Superior was charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

36-year-old Jarrod Bandow of Estherville was charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine.

33-year-old Joshua Carlson of Spirit Lake was charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

And 55-year-old Richard Broocks of Spirit Lake was charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine.

All five were booked into the Dickinson county jail and were released after posting bond of $1,000 each.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and that more arrests are expected.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force, the Iowa State Patrol and the Okoboji Police Department.
