(Spencer)– The search of a Spencer apartment Wednesday landed a man in jail on several drug charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it, along with adult probation officers from the third judicial district office, conducted a probation search at 113 East Fourth Street, apartment number six in Spencer.
During the search, quantities of what’s alleged to be cocaine and methamphetamine were found along with multiple items of drug paraphernalia.
An occupant of the residence, Kenneth Versluis, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance…cocaine…a class “D” felony; possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine…with intent to deliver…a class “C” felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor.
Versluis is being held in the Clay county jail on 50-thousand dollars bond.
