(Sibley)—The execution of a search warrant Wednesday on a residence in Sibley resulted in drug charges being filed against two people.
The search at 1016 2nd Avenue West resulted in the arrests of 27-year-old Heather Lavoie and 26-year-old Reyes Ontiveros…both of Sibley. They were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Both were released after posting a $1,300 bond.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says deputies obtained the searc warrant after receiving anonymous information through its Text-a-Tip program.
Oseola county authorities say they’ve received more than 90 such tips since it implemented its Text-a-Tip system back in 2008.
