Search Of Residence Lands Two Men In Jail On Multiple Drug Charges

(Spencer)– Multiple drug charges have been filed against two men in connection with a search warrant that was executed at a residence in Spencer Monday.

Spencer police say the search was conducted around 3:00 pm Monday at 810 East 11th Street in Spencer.

63-year-old Earl Halbur of Spencer was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine…3rd offense, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver…marijuana, possession of a controlled substance…THC wax, felon in possession of a firearm, person ineligible to carry weapons, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

32-year-old Dylan Halbur of Spencer was also arrested. He was charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…3rd offense, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine…3rd offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were booked into the Clay County Jail. Dylan Halbur was being held on a $27,000 bond; Earl Halbur was being held without bond.
