March 31, 2023 Steve Schwaller

(Estherville)– Three people face drug charges after police in Estherville executed a search warrant looking for some stolen air pods.

Estherville police say they were notified on March 25th of the stolen air pods, and that the owner had located them using an app on her phone that indicated they were at 1215 2nd Avenue South in Estherville. Police executed a search warrant March 28th at that residence and in the process found illegal drugs. A second search warrant was then obtained and executed which resulted in officers finding a marijuana growing operation, marijuana, THC wax, THC vape cartridges, vape pens and drug paraphernalia.

21-year-old Joshua Aguilar and 20-year-old Ashley Allen of Estherville were arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver or manufacture marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to affix a drug tax stamp. Both were released the following morning after posting bond.

18-year-old Jonathon Palacios of Estherville was also arrested. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of tobacco/vape/cigarettes by a person under 21. Palacios was released the next morning on an unsecured bond.
