(Emmetsburg)– A suspect wanted in connection with a sexual assault and attempted murder of an Emmetsburg woman remains at large.
32-year-old James Pietrarosso is wanted on the charges in connection with an incident November 12th in which he allegeld broke into an Emmetsburg residence. Upon entering the home, police allege Pietrarosso used a rope and his hands to strangle a female occupant until she passed out. He then allegedly sexually assaulted her.
The victim told investigators that during the assault Pietrarosso told her he would kill her.
