(Sibley)– A search warrant executed early this (Thursday) morning at a residence in Sibley has resulted in the arrests of two South Dakota men.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 46-year-old Kelly Rayson of Sioux Falls was taken into custody on a warrant from the South Dakota Department of Corrections for a parole violation. Rayson was transported and booked into the Osceola county jail where he awaits extradition to South Dakota.
47-year-old Ricky German of Crooks, South Dakota was also arrested. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
German was also wanted on a warrant out of Minnehaha county South Dakota for forgery. He was transported and booked into the Osceola county jail. He’s being held on a 1,300-dollar cash bond for the Osceola county charges and a 10-thousand dollar cash-only bond for Minnehaha county.
The search was conducted at a residence at 1870 Pierce Avenue South in Sibley.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Special Response Team out of Lyon and Sioux counties.
