Northwest Bank has been selected by the Small Business Administration as the Iowa Community/Rural Lender of the Year.
Northwest Bank is a $825 million community bank with 15 locations in northwest Iowa as well as in the Omaha area.
Northwest Bank was singled out for its commitment to growth and development of small business by enhancing its business banking division. According to the SBA, in the fiscal year 2010, Northwest Bank nearly doubled its approvals, providing 32 loans for 6.4 million dollars, ranking it second among lender in Iowa for the year.
