(Spirit Lake)– Charges have been filed against a rural Milford man accused in a sexual abuse case.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 66-year-old David Wellee was charged with sexual abuse in the second degree and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse.
Authorities say the charges are based on allegations of sexual misconduct allegedly involving more than one juvenile female.
Welle was freed pending future court appearances after posting a $27,000 bond.
Authorities say the case remains under investigation.
