(Spencer)– A Royal man faces multiple charges following an incident back on September 30th.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it stems from multiple calls it received regarding the suspect, 35-year-old Jose Gonzalez of Royal, who was driving around Royal allegedly making threatening phone calls to his wife.
Upon arriving, deputies discovered Gonzalez had just arrived at his residence. Upon further investigation, deputies determined Gonzalez didn’t have a valid driver’s license and that he had allegedly been operating while intoxicated.
Gonzalez was arrested and booked into the Clay county jail on charges of operating while intoxicated…first offense; domestic abuse assault and failure to have a valid driver’s license.
