(Royal)– The execution of a search warrant Wednesday on a residence in Royal resulted in the arrest of a man on drug charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, Iowa State Patrol, Clay County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force conducted the search at 305 Meadow Street in Royal as part of an ongoing investigation. Authorities seized some methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
A resident at that address, Timothy Steinbeck, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine…with intent to deliver; a drug tax stamp violation; and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Clay county jail on a $50,000 bond.
