It’s Grape Stomp at Round Lake Winery on Saturday. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
Round Lake Vineyards and Winery will hold their 7th Grape Stomp Festival on Saturday.
Owner Scott Ellenbecker says there are a few new things this year. “Things we do for the event, we stomp on grapes, and we have some live music which is tons of fun. We start at 11 o’clock and that will go all day. One of the things that we’re different this year, we’ve pulled it together. We spread everything out in the past with multiple buildings and we just remodeled the winery restaurant space so we can get it up closer to the building. We’ve got a number of vendors, they’re going to be here from 11 to 5. Our Duck Blind Bar will be open. We’ve got a bouncy house over there, there’s going to be yard games and, in the bar itself, they’ll be serving drinks, and then our food trailer will be over there with a number of food specials and we’re doing tri-tip sirloin sliced steak, which is delicious.”
He adds that advance tickets are available online. “Well, you can go online and get a $5 entry ticket, or you can come the day of the event and it’s $8 to get in, gives you access to everything.”
