(Sibley)– A rollover Tuesday on Highway 60 near Ashton sent one person to the hospital.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 17-year-old Corey Slagter of Sibley was driving a 2001 Chevrolet pickup northbound on Highway 60 when he lost control on some ice. The vehicle went into the east ditch and rolled once, coming to rest on its wheels.
Slagter was transported to the Osceola Community Hospital in Ashton by ambulance with possible injuries.
About 1,500-dollars in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
The crash took place around 4:30 p.m.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Ashton Fire Department and Ashton ambulance.
