A Harris woman was hospitalized this week after rolling her vehicle into a ditch. According to reports from the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, 21-year old Carol Catala lost control of her 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee along 130th Street or County A-22 at approximately 4:20pm on Wednesday. The vehicle slid into the north ditch and eventually overturned.
The Lake Park Police, Lake Park Ambulance, Dickinson County Emergency Management, and Osceola County Ambulance assisted on the scene. Catala was transported to the Sibley Hospital for possible injuries. No word yet on her condition. Authorities say the vehicle sustained an estimated $2500 in damages.
