(Spencer)—A RIDES driver has received some special recognition.
Ron Niebruegge, a 13-year veteran driver for the regional transit authority, was honored this past Thursday as its “Driver of The Year”.
Niebrugge was selected for his dedication and exceptional service in addition to meeting standards established by the Iowa Department of Transportation.
Niebrugge was presented with the award and certificate at RIDES monthly board meeting by Burlin Matthews, RIDES board chairman and a Clay County Supervisor.
