(Wallingford)– Restoration of a lake in Emmet county is now complete.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources says the project at West Swan Lake took several years to complete. It included a draw down of the lake, removal of rough fish including carp, revegetation, and restocking with yellow perch, northern pike, largemouth bass and bluegills.
A rock dam was also installed on the channel connecting East Slough to Ingham Lake.
