(Wahpeton)– Those planning to attend a special presentation Tuesday (July 26th) evening at Lakeside Lab are being requested to make reservations.
The presentation, titled “One Island, One Ocean: A 28,000 Mile Environmental Adventure Around The America’s” will be presented by lakes area resident David Thoreson. He’ll talk about the history of ice and navigation attempts through the Arctic Northwest Passage, will share fresh satellite data of the summer melt season currently underway there, and describe the scientific instruments used aboard the Ocean Watch vessel during his two-year voyage around the Americas.
Those planning to attend should make reservations by calling Lakeside Lab at 337-3669, Extension 4.
Doors for the event will open at 7:00 p.m. Reserved seats will be held until 7:20 p.m.
