(Des Moines)– State Representative Mike May of Spirit Lake has been appointed to the School Finance Forumla Review Committee which will meet during the 2009 legislative interim.
The committee will be in charge of preparing a school finance formula status report. They will also be charged with providing recommendations for formula changes or revisions based on demographic changes, enrollment trends and property tax valuations observed.
