(Sheldon)– A report of illegal drugs at the residential treatment facility in Sheldon earlier this week resulted in the arrests of two men.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says authorities received the report shortly after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Upon investigating, deputies arrested 34-year-old Clarence Paulsen of Spirit Lake and 34-year-old Jesse Armstrong of Spencer. Both were charged with possession of contraband in a correctional facility after authorities found what’s alleged to be K2, or “spice” in their room.
The charge is a class “D” felony.
Both men were booked into jail.
