(Spirit Lake)– A representative of U.S. Senator Tom Harkin’s office will hold a “listening post” on healthcare reform Tuesday, July 28th at the Dickinson county courthouse in Spirit Lake. It will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. in the community room at the courthouse.
Harkin’s Regional Director, Nathan Vanderplaats, will conduct the session.
Harkin chairs the Health, Education, Labor and Pension Committee’s Prevention and Public Health Working Group charged with crafting the prevention and public health components of the health reform bill.
