“They’ve done a lot of berm work and taking the old shooting tubes out and trying to make it much more user friendly. They’ve moved the shotgun area away from the wetland so that when people go out to shoot clay birds that there’s not lead shot going into any wetlands, it’s going onto dry grounds.”
The Spring Run shooting range east of Spirit Lake remains closed until further notice as the work continues.
