(Spirit Lake)—An Omaha man initially arrested by Dickinson county authorities for public intoxication also faces drug charges.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 31-year-old Andrew Allen was arrested this past Saturday in the 24000 block of 178th Street for public intoxication. A subsequent investigation resulted in authorities discovering Allen was in possession of a plant material and a prescription drug for which Allen didn’t have a prescription for.
Allen was arrested and booked into the Dickinson county jail on charges of public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a prescription drug. Bond was set at $2,000.
