(Algona)– Students participating in the Kossuth/Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation’s Intern Program are giving hope to local youth, teens, and adults by collecting personal care items for people in need. The students are participating in “Project Hope”.
The Kossuth and Palo Alto County Boards of Supervisors will be proclaiming the weeks of June 19th through July 2nd as “Project Hope Weeks”. Area residents can participate by donating small personal care items at participating businesses in the two counties or at the Kossuth/Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation office at 106 South Dodge Street in Algona.
The interns will then assemble individual packages and deliver them to the Department of Human Services, local schools, the Kossuth and Palo Alto County Law Enforcement Centers and other locations.
