Preparations Underway For Flagfest In Spencer

(Spencer)– Plans are being finalized for this year’s Flagfest celebration in Spencer June 7th-9th. Blake Goss of the Spencer Chamber of Commerce says most of the activities this year will be headquartered at North School Park…

“We have the pedal pull and the movie in the park scheduled. The movie is still to be determined that Friday evening. Saturday evening after the parade and grand cruise and all of that the street dance will be down at King’s Steak House and it’s going to be Casey Muessigmann with that. Parade entries are still open. We’re about the same number as we were at this point last year, they’ll continue to filter in as time gets closer. A lot of other activities. Once we get those ironed out we’ll make those public.”

Goss says the parade route will remain the same as in past years.
