Prairie Lakes AEA Announces New Staff Members

(Pocahontas)—The Prairie Lakes AEA is welcoming 18 new staff members who will provide services to families, students, educators and other partners in its 14-county area.

They include Allison Betsch, a school psychologist from Fort Dodge; Allyson Boeckman, a speech language pathologist from Storm Lake; Becky Drikx,  an audiometrist from Storm Lake; Amy Endle, a school psychologist from Blairsburg; Theresa Jones, an occupational therapist from Estherville; Tammy McKimmy, a special education consultant from Pocahontas; Scott McLeod, Director of Innovation from Pocahontas; Kelli Miller, a media specialist from Pocahontas; Rachel Montag, a special education consultant from Algona; Terry Mugge, an early ACCESS service coordinator from Storm Lake; Rachel Rachut, a speech-language pathologist from Fort Dodge; Bill Rislov, a school technology technician from Storm Lake; Becky Singer, a special education consultant from Algona; Julie Steinhoff, an audiometrist from Fort Dodge; Jane Thilges, an early ACCESS coordinator from Pocahontas; Sara Toedter, a special education consultant from Fort Dodge; Tori Woiwood, an audiometrist from Spencer; and Jennifer Woodruff, a physical therapist from Jefferson.

The Prairie Lakes AEA provides special education, school improvement, media and technology support services to the almost 4,000 educators in 44 public school districts and 12 accredited, non-public schools.

The agency employs more than 250 staff members over its 8,000 square mile area.
