(Spirit Lake)– A power outage this (Thursday) morning left some residents in the Francis Sites area southeast of Spirit Lake in the dark for more than an hour and-a-half.
Nancy Craig of Alliant Energy tells KUOO news it appears the problem was with a reclosure in the area of 28th Street and Francis Sites Drive. She says it took crews a while to pinpoint the problem.
Craig says the outage is affected nearly 300 of their customers in that area.
The outage started around 9:10 a.m. It was restored around 10:50 a.m.
