(Primghar)– Possible injuries were reported in a collision Friday in O’Brien county involving a vehicle and a deer.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Keith Wittrock of Primghar was driving a 1998 Ford SUV eastbound on 400th Street when a deer ran out in front of him. Wittrock stepped on the brake, causing him to lose control on the ice-covered road. The vehicle slid into the south ditch where it rolled once, coming to rest on its wheels.
Possible injuries were reported to Wittrock, who apparently didn’t seek immediate treatment.
Two thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
The mishap took place shortly after 10:30 p.m.
