(Primghar)– Possible injuries were reported in a collision of two semi’s Friday on a gravel road in O’Brien county.

The Sheriff’s Office says 64-year-old Joseph Caven of Spencer and 66-year-old Keith Kruse of Everly were both driving International semi tractor-trailers southbound in the 3900 mile of Yellow Avenue. Deputies say Caven was attempting to make a left turn into a field drive when the two collided. Authorities say the visibility was extremely limited due to a high volume of dust from the gravel road.

Neither driver sought immediate medical attention.

Damage to the semi driven by Caven was estimated at $8,700 with about $5,200 in damage estimated to the one driven by Kruse.

The collision took place around 3:30 pm.
