(Milford)– Final totals are in from this year’s Pony Express Ride in Dickinson county.
A total of $3,726 was collected in Dickinson county for Camp Sunnyside near Des Moines.
Broken down, $422 was collected in Lake Park; $1,427 in Spirit Lake; $118 combined for Superior and Terril; $364 in Okoboji; $207 in Arnolds Park and $940 in Milford.
The annual Pony Express dance will be held this (Fri.) evening at Mill Creek Lounge in Milford beginning at 8:00 p.m. A raffle will also be held.
Proceeds from that event also go to benefit Camp Sunnyside.
The Pony Express Ride is annually in Clay and Dickinson counties. It has become a long-standing Good Friday tradition in the two counties.
