(Milford)– Organizers of last Friday’s annual Pony Express Ride describe the event as another huge success.
In Dickinson county, the event, raised a little more than $4,200, with proceeds going to Camp Sunnyside…a camp for disabled youth near Des Moines.
The break down had $570 being raised in Lake Park; $203 in the Terril/Superior area; $135 in Montgomery; $1,791 in Spirit Lake; $364 in Arnolds Park and Okoboji; and $1,142 in Milford.
The Pony Express Ride has been held every Good Friday since 1968.
