Plans For Some New And Approved Amenities In Spencer Are Moving Forward

(Spencer)– Plans by the city of Spencer for some new amenities are moving forward. The City Council this week approved a design agreement with an engineering firm to come up with detailed plans and specs. Parks and Recreation Director Bob Fullhart…

“So this will include the splash pad which is being proposed to be over by the Aquatic Center, just east of the Aquatic Center, as a flow through system, upgrades to the pool which will incorporate a new deep water portion to the pool, and some updates that are needed for that system, and then the campground going just to the south of the Aquatic Center out there.”

The professional service agreement with Bolten and Menk is for an amount not to exceed $430,700. The council voted unanimously to approve it.
