(Arnolds Park)– This (Tues.) morning’s chilly weather reminds us it won’t be long before the Iowa Great Lakes turn to ice as the snow starts to fly and thoughts turn to winter activities.
Along that line, the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce’s Winter Games Committee will hold its first organizational meeting for the upcoming Winter Games Monday, October 13th at 5:30 p.m. at the Hedberg Theatre in the Okoboji Spirit Center in Arnolds Park.
The meeting is not only open to committee members, but anyone who has an interest in the upcoming winter games and ideas for events.
This year marks the 29th year for the University of Okoboji Winter Games.
