(Emmetsburg)– A planned electrical outage Saturday, August 13th will put the entire Emmetsburg campus of Iowa Lakes Community College in the dark that day.
The Smith Wellness Center and the Emmetsburg Public Library will also be affected and will be closed for the day.
Campus Executive Dean Thomas Brotherton says the outage is necessary to complete upgrades and service to the building where the Veteran Tech program will be housed.
All facilities are expected to resume service the next day, Sunday, August 14th.
