(Okoboji)—The Pearson Lakes Art Center has announced the lineup for its 2013 “Growing Iowa’s and the Midwest’s Economy” speaker series.
The series resumes Thursday, March 14th with David Swenson, an Iowa State University Economist, who will look at the current and future economy for the region.
Next in the lineup will be Drew Vogel, President of Diamond Vogel Paint Company in Orange City, who will be the keynote speaker Thursday, May 23rd.
The series will take a break over the summer months and will resume Thursday, September 19th, with Gary Smith, President of the American Popcorn Company and Jolly Time…based out of Sioux City.
The final speaker in the series will be Minnesota State Senator Julie Rosen of Fairmont. Rosen will explain the legislative process of getting a new stadium built for the Minnesota Vikings. A date for that presentation hasn’t been set yet.
