Pickup Vs Semi Tractor Collision Injures One

(Bingham Lake, Mn.)– One person was injured Thursday when a pickup collided with a semi tractor on Highway 60 at the intersection with a county road in Bingham Lake, Mn.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 86-year-old Lloyd Rezac of Windom was driving a 1994 Ford pickup and 36-year-old Randall Schelhaas of Edgerton was driving a 1996 Peterbuilt semi tractor when the two collided in the intersection.

Rezac was taken to Sanford Hospital in Windom for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. No injuries were reported to Schelhaas.

The pickup Rezac was driving was totaled; moderate damage was reported to the semi tractor driven by Schelhaas.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office, Windom ambulance and Windom Fire and Rescue.

The collision took place shortly before 3:00 p.m.
