(Estherville)– A man has died after he lost control of the pickup he was driving and it rolled into a water-filled ditch.
The accident claimed the life of 28-year-old Nathaniel Wilson of Estherville. It happened early Saturday north of Highway nine in Kossuth county.
Sheriff’s officials say the pickup landed in a ditch filled with about two feet of water.
They say two passengers were able to get out and walk to a nearby building where they took a vehicle to look for help.
Officials say Wilson was located in the vehicle under water.
