(Spencer)– Minor injuries were reported in a single-vehicle crash Thursday in Clay county.
The Sheriff’s Office says 16-year-old Corey Lee of Spencer was driving a Ford pickup westbound in the 2400 mile of 340th Street when he became distracted and lost control. The vehicle went into the north ditch.
An unidentified passenger sustained minor injuries but apparently didn’t seek immediate treatment. No injuries were reported to Lee, who was cited for failure to maintain control.
Damage to the pickup was estimated at under $1,500.
The crash took place shortly after 8:00 a.m.
