Phil Hurst Named President Of Midwest Fairs Association

(Spencer)– Phil Hurst, Secretary/Manager of the Clay County Fair, has been named President of the Midwest Fairs Association.

The group was formed in 1922 with the intent to provide large fairs an opportunity to network and discuss industry issues.

The association is exclusive…with only 35 fairs as members.

The group meets each year in the spring for a two-day brainstorming session.

Hurst’s role as President of the association will include serving as chair and principal officer at the annual meeting.

Hurst was named President of the Midwest Fairs Association at its annual meeting in Austin, Texas March 28th.
