(Okoboji)– Officials with the Iowa Department of Transportation have announced what the next phase of work on the Highway 71 corridor through the lakes area will consist of. They say it will include the reconstruction of several intersections, including in Okoboji from north of Sanborn Avenue to Stakeout Road, and in Arnolds Park at Broadway Street and Linden Drive.
The D.O.T says this will mark the third stage of the four phase project. Work is scheduled to start back up once the weather allows in March, with this particular phase to be completed on May 24th.
An informational meeting prior to the start of the next phase will be held in February. The exact date hasn’t been announced yet.
